or remodeling, we are often asked if it's cheaper to add a second story
or start over ? Many factors determine the answer, but new construction
is sometimes easier than remodeling.
Rather than fitting everything into an
existing "old body," new construction gives one a new slate.
However, because of our strict structural requirements in Southern California,
oftentimes a remodel practically turns into new construction with virtually
all parts of the old building being stripped and rebuilt.
